Terms & Conditions

• The Storer shall pay the Deposit to the Facility Owner at the time of signing this licence Agreement.
• It is the Storer’s responsibility to ensure that any/all payments required to be paid by the Storer to the Facility Owner pursuant to the terms of this Licence Agreement are made directly to the Facility Owner on time and in full during the Licence period of following the termination of the Licence Agreement.
• The Storer will be solely responsible for providing a secure padlock for their unit and ensuring it is locked so as to be secure from unauthorised entry at all times when the Storer is not in the Unit. Kenmare Self Storage will not be responsible for locking any unlocked Unit.
• The Storer must not store (or allow any other person to store) any of the following:
    1. Food or perishable goods;
    2. Any living creatures;
    3. Combustible or flammable substances such as gas, petrol, oil or compressed gases;
    4. Explosives
    5. Chemicals, radioactive materials or toxic waste;
    6. Any item that emits fumes or odours;
    7. Goods which are environmentally harmful or that are a risk to the property of any other person.
• The Storer will use the Unit solely for the purpose of storage and shall not paint or make alterations to the Unit or cause damage to the Unit or any part of the Facility or create any obstruction or leave items or refuse in any common space within the Facility.
• The Storer must maintain the Unit by ensuring it is clean and in a state of good repair. Kenmare Self Storage will be entitled to retain the deposit or charge a cleaning fee, and / or claim full reimbursement from the Storer of the reasonable cost of repairs, replacements, restoration, proper compensation or disposal of refuse.
• The Storer must use reasonable care on site and have respect for the Facility and other unit users, inform Kenmare Self Storage of any damage or defect immediately.
• Kenmare Self Storage will not be held liable for any loss or damages suffered by the Storer. Insurance is not included, but can be obtained by the storer for their Unit. The goods are stored at the sole risk and responsible for and bear the risk of any and all theft, damage to and deterioration of the goods caused by any reason.
• Access to Kenmare Self Storage Units will only be permitted between the hours of 8am to 6pm, unless in emergency situations.
• If fees are still outstanding one month after the due date we may:
    a. Give you written notice that all goods in your storage unit will be removed if the outstanding fees have not been paid within 72 hours;
    b. Remove the goods from the storage Unit and charge you the full cost of removing the goods
    c. Dispose of any goods.
